Changing It Up

"The middle of Deathly Hallows was seriously in-tents."
That's my favorite reference to the Deathly Hallows book. The middle part of the story was filled with nothing but the trio camping and arguing. The movie, on the other hand, filled the audience with knowledge and kept their hearts racing with the fast paced action. Perfect.

More Than I Expected

I'm a big fan of the Twilight Series, but I'm no TwiHeart. The last movie, New Moon, disappointed me with it's run about storyline, but this one really stayed true to the books. Something that a lot of people appreciate. The movie carried along nicely and the action scenes were very well done.
I gave the movie 4 stars for a few reasons, the first one being they changed the actress that played Victoria. Something I knew before I saw this movie, but I couldn't get passed. Her reason for being in this movie was so closely attached to her previous attendance that the lack of familiarity (minus the red hair) killed the importance a bit. Bryce Dallas Howard did do an excellent job though.
There were also a few scenes where instead of being heartfelt confessions and important discussions, they were close ups of nose hair and shaky cameras. That was something I couldn't get passed, especially in an Imax theater.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The IMAX Conundrum

Do you ever miss a movie because you aren't sure if it's worth the IMAX price? Well, take it from someone who is extremely cheap; this movie was worth the extra cash. The IMAX experience made it all the more worth it. The 3-D graphics were intense, but not overwhelming to anyone with a weak stomach. The plot was enjoyable and fun. Take the time to see this movie, and you won't regret it.
