HTTM is fun movie that has no designs to be much more than it is - a story of 4 guys who go back to 1986 to relive (and re-examine) a weekend in their lives that, for each, help defined their future. It is certainly nostalgic for those of us around 40 - and is pitch-perfect with capturing a 1986 vibes: from the dress to the music. It's part slapstick and part gross-out humor - with a touch of sentimentality that makes it enjoyable. The acting is solid. Is there a message in the movie? Sure -- friendship matters.
