Saw it twice opening weekend

I thought they did a great job updating the story while still bringing back enough of the original movie. The fighting was very intense. They seemed to make the characters younger but the fight scenes were still at the level of the older kids in the original. I guess when everybody knows how it ends you can get away with that :) Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan were both wonderful in the movie. We also loved the glimpse into life in China.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Sweet movie

When your 10 year old turns to you at the end of the movie and says that was a sweet movie you know it is worth seeing. We have read the books and the movie interpretation wasn't exactly shared with ours but it didn't get in the way of a great movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
