I honestly don't know how action movies can get any better than this. Seeing it in IMAX was just WOW. It had a great story with satisfying character arcs and lots of humor. The action, special effects, and sound will carry you along like a tsunami. I'm afraid I've been spoiled for all other movies after this, so it's a good thing that someone will probably find a way to outdo this... if ever. LOVED watching the Hulk smash.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, has heart

Well, I was expecting to be disappointed after hearing forecasts of doom from others. But I read the books in my younger years and love John C. and Princess Dejah, so I had to see for myself. I'm absolutely thrilled that I did. I was not only NOT disappointed, I came away thinking that I had spent a magical 2+ hours in another world. No, I'm not talking hype, you'd know it if you could count the goosebumps that popped up during the movie. Taylor Kitsch is now JC in my mind, and Lynn Collins made a ferociously gorgeous and divine Dejah.
GO see it in IMAX. I'm going to see it again with my kids.

Well worth the money in IMAX. The seemingly impossible becomes possible in one of the most dizzying action scenes I've ever seen. Tom Cruise still has it, and the team of actors make this team work. Go see it before it's no longer in IMAX!

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS* I wasn't sure what to expect of this movie. I only knew that my daughter and I love dragons, and any dragon movie to celebrate her good report card and my acceptance into a competitive college program and the end of the week was a good thing. But this was more than a good thing. Again, Wow! First of all, 3D has gotten better and better over the years, and this movie was the perfect vehicle for its dazzling special effects. This movie has heart, in my opinion, and a family drama that every parent AND child can relate to. I'm not afraid to say I misted a bit towards the end. For all dragon lovers, I think you will find this movie rocks dragon lore and more! And the voices of Gerard Butler and Craig Ferguson as huge Vikings were delightful surprises. This movie was funny, exciting, exhilirating, moving, and just plain fun! Go see it!!
