I went with high expectations for this movie, bcoz I always enjoyed Bourne series. May be because of my high expectations I was disappointed a little bit. I felt like not all the dots are connected or not all the blanks were filled.
Nevertheless, worth watching once if you like action / thriller / war zone movies.

The movie is quite fast paced and very well written. I enjoyed the movie from start to finish. I might even watch it second time next week to note some technical details in the first part of the movie.
Watch it. I feel you would enjoy it more if you have not read the book. Also don’t read any detailed reviews that might spoil your viewing experience of this movie. Go blank and enjoy it.

Good visual effects. But not for small kids

Good to watch once for its 3D and visual effects. (3 stars only for that) But I definitely won’t recommend it for kids less than 6 years old; some shots are violent and might scare them.

Its was ok sort of movie. If you have appropriate aged kids you can take them, especially if they had read and liked the book.
I wish the director took the opportunity and added more positive feel good factors instead of trying to stay close to the book as much as possible. In my opinion movies have more powerful impact than a book, especially for kids.
I felt some scenes might give negative messages and kids might think that such thing is kool. Anyways, I also think today’s middle class kids are quite matured to take it right. So go for it.

Its tough to agree with any review here that gives more than one star to this movie. This movie is by far a boring and irritating movie I have seen in a while.
Jude and Forest are great actors. But sadly everything is in vain. I could not find anything interesting in this movie, poor dialogs, disappointing story telling, not even the action is all that great.
Another surprise, there is absolutely no logic. The movie happens in a magic land where there is no law or government. C’mon this is not a comedy movie!!
The only thing this movie does contain is blood; lots and lots of dark fake blood. I have seen lots of movies covered in blood, but still with good story and direction to back it up. But this one has nothing.
I saw several people couldn’t tolerate and leave the movie in half.
I won’t recommend it, not even for free Tuesday. In my opinion its not even worth for ‘on demand or dvd in future.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
