Just what you would expect from Tim Burton & Johnny Depp. I took 4 12 yr olds and we all loved it. It was wonderful and we did not want it to end. Some moments had you on the edge of your seat, some moments were tender and touching. I did not bring my 6 or 8 yr olds - which was a good decision. Although the movie is rated PG, there are some disturbing images - and in 3D it is even creepier.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
