This movie had so much buildup I was afraid of a massive letdown. The books are so great, after all. I wasn't disappointed though. There was enough cringeworthy stuff to keep us entertained throughout the whole movie, and the next day we are still laughing randomly at things when we think of them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
