I take my son and am thinking, "Here we go, another kid movie". Sorry just being honest... BUT as Gru walks into the movie, the music is actually good and the animation was impressive! I was like, ok wow, this isn't bad at all. The script was definitely top-notch. Another reviewer said it was touching and it was. It had me and my boy laughing too so yeah we really had a good night. I can't help thinking that the next kid flick won't be as good, this one was just that much better. Take your kids. If you're lucky enough to know another adult who "endures" kid movies, take them, you won't regret it! I'll buy this when it comes out on Blu-Ray....for my son, of course. :)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
