Better than expected

I took my 8 year old son to see this yesterday. After reading a few critical reviews, I was expecting a painful 2 hours. In fact, it was fairly entertaining. Far from a great movie, but my son liked it and I did better than survive. Typical extreme characters and plot lines limit the upside of this movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
