Tangled--Magical Time

This was an incredible movie in 3D. Granted, it was our first experience with 3D, but my 4 year old was amazed and enchanted with the characters. She said hi to the horse, asked me if she could give Rapunzel a hug, wanted to hold one of the floating lanterns and was completely absorbed by the tale.
From a parents' point of view, the bad guys were a little intense. The "pub" scene started off very scary for little ones, but by the end of the scene, the characters redeemed themselves proving you can't always judge a book by its cover.
Overall, it's bound to be a Disney classic. As we were leaving, my daughter could not wait to get a Rapunzel doll of her own. However, I did convince her to ask Santa for one. : )
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great Movie for Parents & Kids

I went to Diary of a Wimpy Kid w/my 7 year old—who reads on a 3rd grade level. He's not the typical 1st grader. He was already a fan, but the movie to him deserved 500,000 stars.
Greg's family was a typical REAL family. Their interactions were believable and all too real when his older brother Roddrick kept getting him into trouble.
Greg's entrance into middle school brought back a lot of memories for me and probably instilled a lot of anxiety for my son. Without giving anything away, the school scenes were funny and the timing was dead on.
Greg's relationship with his best friend Rolly is poignant. It makes you remember how difficult being 12 was.
In the end, it was a great movie to watch—especially with your kids.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
