The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

With only a few exceptions, this follows the storyline in the book beautifully... Naturally, there is no way that anyone could include everything in a book without making a movie many hours too long.... Stephanie Meyer's books are so incredibly rich in details and depth...and would present any screenwriter with multiple dilemmas as to what should and should not be included. Ms. Rosenburg seems to have done well. Especially beautiful are the meadow scenes (in the beginning and at the end) and the proposal (where she finally says yes). I do wish, however, that she had left in the line, "Angry grizzly bears are going to look tame compared to what is waiting for you at home." Obviously, because they cut out Alice kidnapping Bella for the "slumber party"... and all the surrounding story line...that fabulously funny quote was not included.. too bad.. But, the movie does a great job overall.... the action, the emotional interaction of the characters...the visual beauty of the cinematography ...and the great portrayals by the cast.. I would definitely recommend it... Can't wait until it's out on DVD!!!
