Our 7 year old granddaughter will like it... simple dialogue, no plot surprises, adequate action and basic use of IMAX 3-D.
We were reasonably entertained, mostly because we always enjoy Johnny Depp who seems to improve with age.
Tim Burton should not expect too many nominations for this one... he has done much better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
