More than a Great Movie

This movie will intellectually engage you if you want, and will not leave your emotions untouched. A younger viewer will find it on the slow side. But I am not of the younger crowd. If you have trouble with English accents be alert and sit next to the speaker. Perhaps the person you brought with you can assist you if you do not understand something that was said. Don't let this diminish any of this fine work. I predict multiple Academy Awards for this movie. It will be a classic! Movies like this do not come out every year.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Thought provoking

Another movie that examines the equity of the justice system. A topic that certainly needs repeated introspection. The producer combines many dynamics: the love of husband and wife, father and mother to child, temptation, and others into a movie that is tense in a good way. And these themes might have a greater life than justice. Great movie. More thought provoking than entertaining. Just the kind of movie I most often prefer.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Worth Seeing

My first recommendation would be if you plan on seeing this movie to sit as far away from the screen as possible, or perhaps in an older theater. The way the cinemotography is done often the filming is accomplished as if you are running down the alley with the person. If you are too close to the screen it is difficult to follow. As far as the movie itself, I would say the material is uncomfortable, but not to an extreme. The facts perhaps bent, but again not to extreme. Being a veteran I appreciate the portrayal of war in a non-glamorous way. For those who know war, war is a last resort. Soldiers, politicians, spies and civilians all make up a war in which this movie tries to get a grip on all.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
