3-D isn't a must-have on this one, but it was interesting to feel a bit more like I was "in" a Tim Burton world. I couldn't help but feel like both Burton and the Disney overlords made concessions on their individual parts as to how this world would be presented and played out. I wanted it to be more Burton-esque, but could see how Disney would want to hold that back. A good flick, nonetheless...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
