I took my oldest daughter to see it w a friend of hers for her birthday. I'm the biggest HP fan between the 3 of us, since I've read all the books at least 5 times, but we all thought the movie was really good and the special effects were great too. If you're going to see one 3D IMAX movie this summer, this is the one to see! I definitely didn't think the movie was for the younger set. I didn't take my 7 yr old because I thought some parts might have been to scary for her, but I guess that's why it has a PG-13 rating.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Great movie for the kids

I took my daughters (11 & 6) and a friend of theirs to see this movie and we all loved it. They were amazed that it was a true story.
I had known and heard of the horse, but never knew the whole story behind it and found the story very interesting.
I think this is a movie the whole family would enjoy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
