If you didn't know about the Iraq war and why we were there, you may not get much out of this film. The jerky cinematography made me think of the Blair Witch Project and at times was even a bit discomforting. On the other hand the story line was good but predictable. Matt Damon was the perfect choice for this role and his performance was stellar. The behind the scenes of the war machine showes how politics and people manipulate situations and in the end showed how some peoples meddlings result in exactly what they didn't want to happen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
