Burton Vision to the Max

I saw Alice in Imax 3D with my family, and it was eye-popping. The Cheshire Cat and Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen were my favorites. Alice looks like a cross between Gwyneth Paltrow and Claire Danes, and I was truly drawn in by her reasons for wanting to follow the White Rabbit and escape from the pressures of her life. It was a humorous, lush film that would probably appeal most to Tim Burton fans - I have always been one. This is not one of his dark movies, however. This one is all about rich color and escapism. I am fine with him adding to and changing the story a bit. The best stories inspire us to keep creating. Loved it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
