On my kids recommendation...

My kids recommended watching the 3D version, they loved it...and I'm right there with them. We had to wait in a really long line, but the wait (and the horrible seats we had behind the safety bar) was worth the move. What a great adaptation to the original story. The characters were fun and the effects were great. I especially enjoyed the Red Queen...but Anne Hathaway as the White Queen was a bit of a stretch---if she was the 'good queen' why did they make her make-up so horrible? She looked odd with the beautiful gown & whiter than white hair with the dark eyebrows and black lips...? Weird.
Nice to know the author's drug trip interpretation could carry along for so many years....
Yes, I recommend this movie.
