Just Loved It!!

I had very low expectations as I made my way to the imax through torrential rain this morning. After all, the reviews have not been great. However, how bad can a Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp be?
Not bad at al, in fact, AMAZING!!!! I totally lost myself in Tim Burtons magical vision of Wonderland. The story was believable in a fairytale sense. Alice reenters Wonderland as a young adult. Alice, played by Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, was utterly charming and brought Alice to life as a teenager. Johnny Depp played the Mad Hatter to perfection. I loved Helena Bonham Carter, her “Off with his head!” was hysterical. A wonderful cast supported by a wonderful backdrop. The visuals were breathtaking – watching it in 3D, a treat.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
