I enjoyed the movie, "Eat Pray Love," very much! Before I begin, I just bought the book on Friday, August 13 and started reading it but the previews up to the opening day made me long for this movie. I could not wait! This movie was like a mirror of my life. I feel like the character and I just don't know what to say or how to feel and the people that I encounter seem to have all the answers. This movie was so real because women, when a woman is going through some emotional junk and how women usually react, especially when she is just not satisfied with what life has been dishing out. Going somewhere else makes for the adventures in this movie and the encounters that she makes are so real. The supporting characters/actors were strong in this movie and this was just not a Julia Roberts flick; it was an everyone who acted in this flick flick.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Loved them Since Day One!

I am a huge BEP fan! I now live in Oklahoma and could not see them live in California. I loved being able to see them on the big screen when I could not see them close by; they were in Tulsa but the snow was so bad that day, did not make it. I saw this at the Quail Spring Mall AMC Theatre 24 and it is a beautiful mall and theatre. Let's get to the concert... First, run time is incorrect; it was 2 hours because the Peas were 45 minutes late in starting. I told my niece and nephew to expect that; they are 19. Anyway...I loved the solo acts except for Will's. Mr. Will is a diva! His turntable experience should have been short. And the stage hands were not following directions from Mr. Will. Not Cool! In the beginning of the concert songs, they kept bleeping out the curse words. Okay, from where I saw this, there were 7 kids in the theatre under 12 and what are they doing out at 10p on a school night going to a grown folks concert? Not Cool. I felt that the bleeps were unnecessary because these are a part of the song so, in the beginning, lots of cuts..messed up the songs but BEP, being the troopers they are came through and sung songs with substitue lyrics, except for Fergie on Glamorous and I made sure to sing very loudly, "If you ain't got no money, take yo broke ass home!" LOL! Keep your kids at home! Fergie is awesome! She sung three songs: Fergilicious, Glamorous and Big Girls Don't Cry. The girl is awesome and I had the opportunity to meet her back in 1996 when she with Wild Orchid at a club called Peppers in the City of Industry, CA. Sean Combs was throwing a release party for them at the time. anyway.... Taboo was looking very sexy! He flew through the air on a futuristic motor bike. And, my favorite male Pea, Apl de, sung Bebot and Mare. Let me say, there were about 20 people, maybe 30, in the theatre and the majority were acting like my crew, dancing singing and participating like we were there; actually we were but, you know what I mean. The show did have it's slow moments. Too many pregnant pauses of darkness. It was wonderful of Will to share his story and you can tell that they all genuinely enjoy their trade and they are very good at it. Will is a very talented musician and played a few instruments. Three wonderful highlights of the show were: Slash from GNR, who has a solo cd coming out on April 6 and a song with Fergie, performed that song and it is bangin'; I will be buying that one. Ludacris, Luda!, came out and sung with Fergie. And, I cannot recall the name of the guitarist that played the opening of Pump It. That old dude was awesome! Well, let me say that i am glad that I did not pay the $65 dollars to see them in Tulsa; this screening was worth the $15 dollars that I paid. You felt you were there and you had a better view anyway had you went to the concert. I could go on but I am typing this at 2am in my hotel room and I am very exhausted and my mouth is dry. So, if your favorite artists decides to do this, it is worthwhile to see if it is worth going to see them live at the venue. But, let me add jeers to Quail Springs AMC 24 in the beginning, they had the house lights still up and volume low. A young lady went and told them to turn it down and turn it up! You go, Girl! Other than that, beautiful theatre and beautiful mall. I felt homesick because it reminded me of malls back in California.
