I was excited for this movie and ended up sorely disappointed. Blair Witch comparisons were quite accurate, although the camera steadiness was a *bit* better. It's a bit hard to find a suburban California home as eerie as, say, midnight in a Maryland forest, so the eerieness level drops immediately. There are a couple of unexpected moments that may make you jump a bit, but nothing that's going to leave you terrified to sleep at night. All in all, most of the movie was boring conversation and not worth the $10 I spent. Save your money or go see something else. This might be more fun to watch at home, but I'm not holding my breath.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
