After seeing the commercials and given that it is a Tim Burton film WITH Johnny Depp, I really expected more from this movie. From the beginning, my friend and I both looked at each other and said "are you kidding me?" I really liked the "look" of Alice, but not her acting so much. I really wished they had stuck to the original script more, leaving Alice as a little girl. They did not build up the history of Alice's visits to Wonderland and that really made this movie lose much of its credibility. So sad because it really had potential.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
