Pretty Good Movie

I was expecting a little bit more out of Tim Burton. Alice doesn't surpass The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sweeny Todd, or even Edword Scissor Hands. In defense, those movies are pretty hard to beat. I honestly found other versions of Alice creepier than this one. The author was on an Acid trip while writing the story for goodness sake! I fell in love with The March Hare, The Caterpillar, and The Queen Of Hearts. Alice and the White Queen were disappointing. The dance number by Alice and The Mad Hatter seemed out of place. Alice showed her bare legs during the dance though, and it was slightly amusing but still out of place.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
