We hadn't seen a movie in a theater for 7 years, so this thing totally blew our socks off. Cameron was very clever in putting Jake in a wheelchair and choosing a relatively unknown actor. That way the computer generated movements seemed to belong to him. The animation would have been much more difficult for an actor with very distinctive movements.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
