Not what I expected!

I would recommend this movie...but in 3D. The special effects seem to be done with intention for 3D! Very well acted and the animations just seem to blend so well. It's the traditional story, but with a darker, gothy feel. I did find myself longing for a more traditional costume for Alice. Pity that my mind had time to notice. But, all in all, great special effects, great characters, and a great contribution to a traditional story in a darker vision.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
