An Interesting Interpretation

Tim Burton has an interesting take on the story- this movie can sort of be taken as a sequel to the first Alice in Wonderland by Disney. In this one Alice is older and her "dreams" about Wonderland that she has had in the past have been preparing her for this journey.
Burton combined elements from both books by Carroll, as well as elements from the prior movie interpretations. Overall, I really liked the acting, the costumes and the interplay of cgi with human actors. From the previews I did not think I would like that part, but Burton makes both worlds merge beautifully and makes them make sense.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
