I didn't care for Anne Hathaway's performance. It seemed like she was trying to hard to immitate the wicked witch of the west; I just didn't find her naturally graceful. I think the best performances were by the actress who played Alice and the actress who played the red queen. Overall, I just felt like something was missing in the movie. They did a good job on making the dragon thing look creepy! However, the fight seens were unrealistic and I didn't feel the threat of the red queen. They spoke a lot about how bad she was, but I didn't feel it; I never felt afraid of her.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
