Five of us saw "Alice..." together, ranging in age from 7 years to 73 years old. We all enjoyed the movie very much. As my grandson said when the movie ended, and the butterfly flew into the audience,"Awesome"! He wasn't just talking about the butterfly; the whole movie was great. For the older people, Alice being a teenager was an interesting take on the story, and a very cool way to update the story a bit. The casting, voice and live actor, was truly inspired.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
