It was a fun movie, better than most out there, but not an award winner. Don't waste your money on the 3D version. It did not add anything to the movie and at times was distracting. Johnny Depp was good, but this was not one of his better movies. Johnny fans may be disappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
