Sequel Continues Excellent Run

The 3D version of the movie was quite spectacular. Very good story and family friendly. Religious overtones are very minimal and appropriate for any audience. Great lessons projected for children in the 8-12 year range. Interesting to the younger and older crowd. Sufficient action, even for the die hard guy.

Good Twist in the Plot

The balance between action, love story, and developing plot works well in this movie. Probably will not do well in the theater, but it is a good story leaving the moviegoer satisfied.

From the perspective of a movie-goer this was just a setup for the next movie. The movie could have probably been done in 3.5 hours for the entire book.
