I didn't realize the movie was going to be a continuation of the original and I may not have seen it if I knew that to begin with, However, I am glad I did see it because the movie was fan-freakin-tastic! Johnny Depp was amazing, you can't getter a better actor to play a weird character. Tim Burton did an amazing job! The movie did not have allot of 3-d effects so I don't think it was worth paying the additional fee for 3-d but certainly worth paying full regular price!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
