As a childrens movie, it's great. It's not the dark and spooky movie that parents envision when they see Tim Burton's name attatched to it.
For older fans, I can say that I was very impressed by everyone except Tim Burton. He really dropped the ball, trying (and failing) to give Alice a coherent and engaging storyline.
Great graphics, great acting, however, as the characters spend half of the movie debating, it's "just not Alice."
Yes, I recommend this movie.
