Gorgeous to watch, fun to smile at some of the quirky humor, and amazing to partake in the new world of 3D - but for those interested in fresh storytelling, character arch, and a movie that appeals on several levels, Alice falls right down the rabbit hole.
Tim Burton has become a bit of a caricature of himself, no longer able to rely on the shock value of his gothic eccentricity to delight viewers and instead of exploring new worlds, he is now just taking already existing mind bending tales, stamping them with his style and putting them on the production line.
Come on Tim, you are at your best with misunderstood freaks, plagued with troubles only you can dream up - let's get back to that.
