Too Predictable

From what I remember about the original AIW was that it was so unpredictable - more like a dream. In this version, as soon as Alice falls in the hole, it becames Hollywood formula predictable. I was dissappointed in Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. He was more smitten than mad.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
