I took my 3 year old to see Alice in Wonderland in IMAX 3D. The movie was very good and we all enjoyed it. I was worried that she would be scared by parts, the trailer looked a little scary, but she was not at all. My only complaint was that they had it way to loud in the theater. Over half the movie was spent with my hands over my child's ears. It started out that way though with the previews. And the glasses were way to big for a child, they were big on me. My child couldn't keep them on so she watched the whole movie without any. I wouldn't pay $10 for her again unless they get glasses in other sizes. It was a child-friendly movie with only adult size glasses.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
