It's no surprise that the animation in this film is stunningly beautiful.
Beside being a lively and very fun send-up of Scottish culture, this film gets very real and remarkably touching.
We are invited to take an honest look at the inevitable conflict and rebellion that comes with adolescence and burgeoning adulthood. In this case, between mother and daughter.
While very dramatic and exciting, we can all relate to the characters experiences.
Best of all, in the end, the message is that young people should take their time in making major life decisions until they are truly ready and for the best reasons.
THIS IS HUGE!!! Well done, Disney.

The story was delightful and the voices were really great! The animation was superb, the detail is AMAZING. It was a very funny, light-hearted and enjoyable movie. The 3-D aspect was watchable; by that I mean it didn't cause eyestrain like some have.
Recommend to anyone at any age!
