Really felt transported back to 1860's. Daniel Day Lewis works his magic again as President Lincoln. I predict he will add another Oscar to his collection, an enthralling performance! Disappointed that the movie storyline was so very narrowly focused (small regard for big events on the battlefield that were shaping the political discussion). Williams' musical score was, of course, outstanding. Spielberg's mastery of the camera and the art of filmmaking burns bright as ever.
Pros great actors, great cinematography, great music score, oscar contender

SPECIAL EFFECTS WERE OVER THE TOP AMAZING...STORY LINE WAS SIMPLE BUT GOOD...VIOLENCE WAS A LITTLE OVERWHELMING AT TIMES

If the original WOODSTOCK was this dull, we wouldn't have ever heard about it! At least the soundtrack should have been awesome and that was also a big disappointment. PEACE.
