Great representation of the book. If you read the book prior to seeing the movie, it flows well and follows fairly closely for the better part of the movie. If you haven't read the book first there may be some gaps for you. Definitely disturbing, a bit scary at times, and GREAT acting by Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley. Only downside I saw was that where there was no closure in the book, the movie gives closure- not a big fan, that was one of the best parts of the book. Without the fantastic work of Scorsese and great acting from the cast, the movie would have been a total flop.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
