This wasn't one of Tim Burton's better movies, nor was it Johnny Depp's best work. A strange adaptation of the Alice story, it never really engaged me. Almost fell asleep twice, my wife had the same experience, didn't even hold the interest of my six year old son. The cgi was good, the 3D fair. Compared to Avatar and some of the other recent cgi 3D movies I've seen this one was a disappointment. Might be worth renting after it's released on DVD, but not worth the cost of a movie ticket and snacks!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
