I loved the original version of this movie and i had some pretty high expectations for this modern re-make. I was disappointed by the contrived, overly costumed appearance of the characters, the overall feeling was anachronistic, why couldn't they get this right? Where are the professional artists in this presentation? The dialogue was ridiculous such as "don't look the bitch in the eye" seriously? This movie is perfect for a 14 year old boy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This movie was a great retelling of the classic Alice in Wonderland story. I enjoyed references to Lewis Carol's other literary works.
