Not great...

The newest version of Alice In Wonderland wasn't very good. The story was a mess. Well, the book was a bit of a mess too, but this movie just felt hurried along. Yet somehow at times I lost interest. Johnny Depp's performance was... okay. The movie left me bored at times and the visual effects were dark, not dark in a cool dystopian kind of way, but just dark and dim. The 3-D aspect of the version I saw was poorly implemented and wasn't worth the higher price of the ticket. There we just too many 3-D scenes that felt forced. Mist? Bugs? I don't recommend this movie.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
