I saw the premier of "Life of Pi" and I had not read the book so it was my first experience with this story. I saw it in 3D and the photography/special effects were amazing. The animals looked so real it was hard to tell they were created. (I assmue some scenes were of the real animals but...)
In some scenes it was like being at the Planetarium gazing into the starry sky thru the cool blue ocean...a w e s o m e!!

A MUST SEE FILM! Don't believe all the naysayers, they are just old poops. This film rocks, all stars were perfectly suited to their roles and the story was unique and original, unpredictible, and refreshing. The 3D effects just added to the wonder of it all. Kids will like it too just mind the rating. Smaller children 7 and under may be frightened by some things but it is an adult film I believe.
