Tim Burton does it again

I am a Tim Burton fan and he hasn't disappointed in Alice in Wonderland. I read both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass when I was in High School and Tim Burton managed to capture the dream-like quality of the books.
I saw the movie in 3-D and I really appreciated the subtlety of the effect and the fact the movie wasn't in my face all the time.
Johnny Depp displayed his usual madness in fine form and he works really well with Tim Burton. The only complaint I have is with the characterization of the White Queen, she was too over the top.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
