I thought this one may take over as my favorite- Escape from Azcaban, but it didn't quite make it. I certainly enjoyed it tremendously though. I thought it was going to be "darker" than it actually was (although it was intense) but it had quite a few humorous scenes involving the gang an their romantic endeavors. The end fell a little flat for me because they did not have a big fight scene like the book, but I can understand due to the PG rating.
I thought the Dark Knight was fantastic! Action, action, action! The acting all the way around was great, but I have to say this about Heath Ledger's performance...unrecogizable. Not just because of the physical disguise, but his performance. Mannerisms, voice, the way he moved. I am saddened to think that he will not go on and make more movies using his huge talent! Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhall and Erin eckhart - ALL phenomenal! I don't have too much to say about the ending (because I'm not sure how I feel about it) and I definitely wouldn't give anything away, but I am very interested to see what the future holds for the Batman.
