A trip down a rabbit hole

OK, first off - I love Johnny Depp and I think his performance was outstanding! As for the rest of the movie - how did I miss that this was a sequel? Perhaps the title was a bit misleading. In any case, if was a great movie. It may be a bit frightening for the little ones but full of color and imagination.
I agree with many others, the hype was built up so high that it would have been hard to match our expectations.
Alice played it a little flat - even for someone who thinks she's dreaming.
I'll go again to take the family children but I won't waste my money on imax and 3d.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
