I loved the previous four Die Hard movies, so this was a HUGE disappointment. The dialogue was so bad that I'm almost sure they farmed out writing duties to taskrabbit. I don't usually notice bad directing, but I certainly noticed it here: long close-ups for no apparent reason; gratuitous chase scenes and special effects; way too many death-and-physics defying stunts. The worst thing, though, is that this film had no no soul. It just felt cobbled together with bits and pieces from the other Die Hard films. The best thing about this film is that it ended.
