Fun to watch, but slightly disappointing

I guess maybe my hopes were up to much with this movie. I expected something twisted for sure (It's Tim Burton and Johnny Depp) and it was twisted. Johnny Depp was great in the role, but otherwise the movie didn't hold my interest...I couldn't wait to leave actually...the original version was much better. The special effects and the IMAX experience were amazing though!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
