This is important... Oo look Shiny

Ok I have a great love for all things:
1 Alice in Wonderland
2 Tim Burton
But I found myself just not LOVEing this movie. The problem is that although the art was great, the cast was great, the plot was great... Anytime something that should have pulled me in to connect with the charactors or story came along... there was an arbitrary distraction.
Case in point... not spoiling anything till you see it, Cottonwood seeds were not appropriate effect at THAT moment, flies would be better.

I and my boyfriend (artist, actor and mutual fan) felt detatched from this movie and we wanted to be absorbed by it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
