laughed and cried - but in a good way

I took the wife, my daughter and one of her friends to this movie, without really knowing much about it.
What impressed me was the appeal Up had for all of us.
Some have commented that there are sad parts to the movie. True--it does. But the overall messages were powerful and positive: chase your dreams no matter what life throws at you, and take time to enjoy the little things you have.
It has its funny, ridiculous moments, mixed in with very heart-warming and touching moments -- Much life real life!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
