I took my preteen son and a friend to the movie. I didn't realize I purchased 2-D tickets. However, the movie was great anyway. We all enjoyed watching it and had a great time. It is clever, entertaining and funny. It was not at all creepy or gory as I had thought from the advertisements. To my surprise, I would be happy to see it again, this time in 3-D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
